Finally, I’m back! Back at home!
Seriously, there’s quite a few things in Singapore that I really look forward to. First, it has got to be my family and yes, I really miss them. Secondly, I miss my friends too! Lastly, it’s my vacational attachment back in the unit! I just had my first day of work and I really got to say that I truly enjoyed it. I look forward to the rest of work days here for the coming three months and I believe I will be able to achieve quite a lot of things during my stay.
Well, I welcome this change, the change from the role of a student, back to the role of a military officer. From long hair to really short hair, from assignments & exams to projects & taskings, from a casual and fun-to-be-with outlook to a more professional and serious outlook (right, I am still fun to be with during off office hours!) and of course, the way that I present myself has got to change with this change in the role. Friends, the funny and crazy Victor will only be available after office hours!
To round up, I would just like to say that I am seriously proud of my job and I love what I am doing. I believe that loving your job is really important because you have to enjoy and have passion in something you do before you can really excel in it. Being a military officer has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge on how to be a person, the ability to communicate effectively with people, the ability to cope with situations and also handling well in uncertainties and hostilities. More importantly, I also believe that my job is able to give me the challenges I yearn and the job satisfaction I look forward to!
Right, thank God it’s friday! Enjoy your weekend and I will enjoy mine too! Ta!
